Exam Time! BOO

Hi lovelies! I just wanted to take the time to thank you all for taking a look at my blog, and those who know of my beauty channel on Youtube thank you, thank you, thank you!! For those who just came cross my blog come along and hopefully you'll stay! Can I just say I'm starting to get a little bit of anxiety because my personal friends, peers, and family are slowly finding my channel and blog. This originally was suppose to be a secret thing because it's not ever day that people like to speak to cameras and blog. Those of you that have channels or blogs, Im sure that you've experienced this at some point! haha! Anyways if you can please spread the word! Ill insert a picture here so if you wanna reblog/share that would be aaamaazzingggg!!

Now that I've cleared that out of the way, the point of this post is about stress, exams, and moving..and anything in between or related around that. You guys do know that I am a college student and I do live here at school so not only you have exams to worry about, you have to worry about the stress of moving as well. THIS is my life. I am a military child so I know what it's like to move place to place and it's definitely not fun to pack AT ALL.  Here's a few pointers for you that I use when I move, relieve stress, etc.

1. Work your buns off!

If you find yourself saying "I'm Bored" or "There's nothing to do" STOP YOURSELF! If you think about it, if a friend asks you "Hey! Wanna go watch a movie?" or "Hey! There's a party tonight lets go!" That there you MADE time to go party or watch a movie. What I'm trying to say is you will always have time. When exams come around start WAY AHEAD OF TIME. My exams are in two weeks but I've already started preparing two weeks ago. In this i mean, make your study guide ahead of time! Idk if you have noticed but your study guide takes WAY more time than the studying itself.

Tip: When you write out your notes it's scientifically proven that you will remember it better than typing or just reading off a page.
Tip: Using a green color pen, pencil, marker, etc. scientifically triggers the brain for better memory.

Weird Eh?

2. DE-STRESS

Find different ways that help you get better studying habits. I must say I HATEEEEEE studying but I knew that now that I am in college, I couldn't breeze by in all my classes without studying like I had in high school. Here are a few examples that i do or use when I study/when I feel stressed.

-hot showers/go to your student activity center to the pool/sauna/hot tub
-light a candle (some help stimulate senses, I don't recommend if in a dorm! haha)
-listen to music (for me, Late Night Alumni)
-Go for a run/exercise
-Lighting (I work better with dimmed lights so I just turn on two lamps vs. that obnoxious florescent light)

3. PLAN ACCORDINGLY

Plain and simple. Keep track of what you are doing. It is easy to forget what you are doing and I have before. USE A PLANNER!!!! I will show you a story of why you need to do this.

Last year around this time, It was exam week. My professors decided that it would be cool to assign all essays for the finals so I found myself typing out loads of papers along with extra credit we were offered along with that. Of course duhh I was going to do the extra credit! Little did I know, I did finish all of my papers but for my geography class I just wrote the extra credit paper and not the real final essay itself!!! I went in to take the hand written test of 100 questions and she stated "Okay everyone turn in your essays right after." Of course I was frantically rummaging through my bad only to find that I didn't write that essay! =.= yeppp I was definitely like "FUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKK!!!" I'll insert a picture here of what I looked like. lol

Anyways, I sprinted out the  room and across my campus like a DOUCHE BAG, typed a paper in 10 minutes, printed the paper, and sprinted back to find my teacher walking out the door with her box of papers. She said wow good thing you know how to run and I was just like yeahh. I ended up getting a B+ in that class like a bosssss. haha

STAY ON TRACK GUYS!!!

4. DOWN SIZE

Okay... so this is geared mostly towards girls. I know we loveeee products and shopping, etc. but at the end of the year you will notice how much room you don't have at the end of the year versus when we first moved in the room. Take a good look over your clothes and see what clothes you have not worn all year. It's clothes like this that wastes so much room, and adds more stress to your move back home or where ever else you decide to go. I donate my clothes if it is still in good condition. Don't worry, you already know that you'll replace that shoe or shirt with something better :)

Please don't pull the "Well I could use it for.." line. Trust me you will feel SO MUCH BETTER!

Note: Do this before your exams!!! This will be less stressful on you so that you can head out of college right away when you finish your exams! :)

For college students, go home over the weekends to move some of your stuff home so you don't have so much crap to bring home the last day. As for clothes, I just keep everything on the hanger so it's easy to move back and forth to a new location.

I suppose I should end this now, I am after all in class right now lol I may do a video of this when I do go home but i'll see. Hopefully some of these tips were helpful and if you have tips of your own leave a comment below!
